National Companion Card Scheme

The National Companion Card Scheme brings together state and territory programs that enable eligible people with disabilities to participate in activities and at venues without incurring the cost of a second ticket for their attendant carer.

A photo ID card, it identifies the bearer as a person who requires attendant care to participate at most community facilities and events. Cardholders simply present the card at participating organisations when purchasing a ticket or paying an entry fee and they receive a ticket for their companion at no extra charge.
