History

Since its beginning in 1984, Intouch has been at the forefront of providing an easy way for all Australians to shop for their healthcare and wellness needs. As the commercial arm of the Spinal Injuries Association, Intouch was created to support the Association’s mission to help support and rebuild lives of people with a spinal cord injury while promoting independence.

Intouch has grown from $0.1m turnover in product supply to customers in 1984 to a forecast turnover of over $40m for 2009.


With a focus on delivering healthcare and wellness supplies direct to door, Intouch was created through the development of a state of the art contact centre and online shopping web front. Initially specialising in continence care and management, Intouch now delivers an array of products to more than 90 000 Australians nation wide.

The launch of the new website in June 2009 and soon to be implemented contact centre system (Intouch Customer Integration) are initiatives which streamline processes and provide faster, simpler service to the customer. Intouch’s ingenuity and development of information technology demonstrates its continued efforts to provide superior customer service.

Over the past 25 years, Intouch has developed the capability to become the business we are today - leading the way in healthcare and wellness advice, products and services.
